Anthony Vaccarello To Replace Hedi Slimane At Saint Laurent?

Rumors keep spreading that Hedi Slimane is due to quit Saint Laurent. This morning WWD reported that “the designer has so far failed to reach an agreement on the renewal of his initial contract with the Kering-owned fashion house and is preparing to part ways with a brand he revved up with his rock ‘n’ roll-inspired fashions and a top-to-bottom reform of the storied house“. Versus Versace’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello is also pointed as a potential successor.
In response, a Saint Laurent spokeswoman said the house “does not comment on rumors.”
