Alan Taylor was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1987. In 2010 Alan graduated with a BA in Fashion from The National College of Art and Design in Dublin. He’s currently living in London and he was approached to work as first assistant to Simone Rocha. From his previous experience working with designers, including Alexander Mcqueen, Agi and Sam and David David, he spent three seasons working closely with Simone until he decided to pursue his own label in October 2011.
For the Fall/Winter 2017 collection Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki, co-founders and artistic directors of Maison Kitsuné, drew their inspiration from American pop culture and the aesthetic and creative energy of New York born, Paris based, artist William Klein.
