The outstanding collaboration between adidas and Raf Simons continues for Spring/Summer 2015 resulting in an expanded range of seven different silhouettes in various colour and material executions. The new adidas by Raf Simons collection includes the now-staples, Response Trail 2, Ozweego 2 and Bounce, further developments of the classic Stan Smith, the introduction of one new model, the Platform Lace and most significantly, Raf Simon’s interpretation of the Adilette.
Two versions of the iconic Adilette are part of this season’s collection. The Adilette is reworked in bold colours , one includes a 2-tone forefoot strap while the other is monochromatic. The timeless Stan Smith is updated in various new color ways including a saturated red and dark grey as well as pastel tones & the classic white. The perforated R on the side, and a sketch of the designer’s likeness always sign off each style. The new Platform Lace combines an elevated midsole with elements that illuminate under pressure creating a progressive yet athletic footwear style.
Presented this June during Paris Men’s Fashion Week, the collection will hit retail from mid February 2015 onwards, with a retail price ranging from € 120 – € 690. Available at the adidas Icon stores in London, Paris and Berlin as well as select boutiques around the world.
