YSL BEAUTY Presents MYSLF L’ABSOLU
by Adriano Batista

YSL Beauty introduces Myslf L’Absolu as more than a new fragrance. It is presented as an elevation of feeling. The project moves past established ideas of wellness, proposing a different path: one of radiant pleasure and a luminous kind of joy.
The scent is the result of a specific creative choice. The perfumers decided to reimagine the idea of an “absolute” fragrance. They moved away from expected richness, choosing instead to infuse the composition with light. The familiar floral and woody character of the original Myslf is energized by a fresh, sparkling accord of ginger. The result is a scent designed for an immediate, radiant sensation.
The vessel for this scent carries its own meaning. The bottle is a tall, black monolith that channels the iconic YSL silhouette. For this edition, the luxurious crystal takes on a dark silver mirror finish, reflecting the fragrance’s sparkling character.
Actor Austin Butler represents this spirit. He is described as accepting all the facets that make him who he is: sensitive, confident, and authentic. The digital campaign captures him in a state of exhilaration. He is seen running through a field of orange blossoms, moving with fluidity, and sharing genuine laughter with his team. The feeling is one of liberation and alive-ness.

The entire effort focuses on a superlative feeling: being the most intense and joyful version of oneself. Myslf L’Absolu frames this as the ultimate form of self-expression, living fully in your own skin and embracing every sensation.
