Adidas and Yohji Yamamoto are bringing back the Y-3 F50 TUNIT, a pack that first appeared in 2006 ahead of that summer’s World Cup in Germany. Twenty years later, the release looks ahead to the FIFA World Cup 2026 in North America.

The pack first debuted during Y-3’s Fall/Winter 2026 presentation in Paris. It draws on Japanese mythology, featuring the original beasts from 2006: a blue Dragon, a yellow Tiger, a red Eagle and a silver Wolf. The lifestyle version transforms the cleats into a walkable outsole unit, moving from the pitch to the street.

The pitch-ready version centers on the Wolf as the leader of the pack. It maintains the artwork and lace cover from the original 2006 cleats, reimagined with adidas’ current technical updates. The firm ground boot features a HYBRIDTOUCH upper, SPRINTFRAME 360 outsole and heel counter, and haptic branding. Each pair carries Yohji Yamamoto’s signature.

The 2026 F50 ELITE FG TUNIT Y-3 will be worn on pitch by some of football’s most influential stars.
