Wrangler Brings Its Vintage Denim Exhibition to Paris

Wrangler has arrived in Paris with an exhibition dedicated to its history and influence on denim culture, open to the public from 25 to 29 June at 79 Rue du Temple. Following a debut in New York earlier this year, the show brings together rare vintage pieces from the personal archive of Japanese collector Ric Kanamaru alongside garments from Wrangler’s own heritage collection.
Kanamaru is widely regarded as one of the foremost authorities on vintage Wrangler, having spent decades building a collection that documents the evolution of the brand. His archive serves as both a historical record and a testament to Wrangler’s lasting appeal among collectors and denim enthusiasts worldwide. The carefully curated display spans decades, highlighting the details and authentic character that have cemented Wrangler’s place in American fashion.
The Paris presentation celebrates the intersection of heritage and contemporary culture, underscoring the growing appreciation for vintage craftsmanship and the stories embedded within each garment. To mark the opening, Wrangler and Kanamaru hosted a cocktail reception on the evening of 24 June, welcoming members of the fashion community, media, and collectors, including McBernie, Jesse Rutherford, Basem Dardouri, Lamich Kirabo, Kat From Finance, and Alejandro Cialo.
The exhibition runs daily from 10AM to 6PM at 79 Rue du Temple, 75003 Paris, through 29 June.
