For Fall/Winter 2026, Wales Bonner finds inspiration in modernist architecture. The collection, titled Morning Raga, looks to the work of architects like India’s Balkrishna Doshi, focusing on elemental simplicity and a pursuit of harmony.

The clothes balance the practical and the sensual. Archetypal uniform shapes are reworked through contrasts of fabric. A heritage polo shirt is updated with a ceremonial satin sash. Shirts in silk feature color blocks of ivory and Atlantic blue. A minimalist grid pattern appears on a structured topcoat and chore jacket woven from Italian wool.

The presentation atmosphere was set by John Coltrane’s Meditations, suggesting a space of harmony and cultural exchange. This combination appears in the clothing through a seasonal take on Madras check and Bengal-stripe shirting in crinkled cotton. The collection is adorned with architectural brooches made in Botswana from Panga Panga wood and semi-precious stones by artisans Beullah Serema and Peter Mabeo.

Ease is provided through tonal cotton and merino knits made in collaboration with the English maker John Smedley. An indigo linen tuxedo from Savile Row tailors Anderson & Sheppard offers a lighter formal option. The new mainline footwear is the Studio Moccasin, presented in a zebra-print pony hair.
