Viviano‘s Fall/Winter 2026 collection begins with a question: “What emerges when menswear is created through a womenswear way of thinking?” This is an ongoing line of inquiry for the brand. For this season, the approach shifts. Rather than transplanting elements of femininity into menswear, the collection seeks to contain them from within the perspective of menswear itself.

The starting point is a sense of discomfort with menswear as a system. The designer notes that menswear has long been governed by rules, discipline, and dress codes. This order is closely tied to traditional ideas of correctness and masculinity. Today, these frameworks feel increasingly rigid. Everything is defined, categorized, and optimized. The ambiguous spaces that once existed are slowly disappearing.

In response, Viviano proposes a figure: “him.” He is a presence who exists within norms but never fully assimilates into them. He carries a desire to comply, paired with an impulse to betray. The collection gives form to this internal tension, creating clothing for a man who operates inside the system while quietly refusing its terms.
