Valentino Beauty celebrated the launch of its new Vendetta fragrances with a takeover in Los Angeles, transforming the city into the setting of its latest fragrance story. The experience unfolded as a road trip from day to night, tracing landmarks associated with legendary stories of ardour before arriving at the Valentino Beauty Vendetta Motel, the quintessential pitstop of a classic Californian road trip.

By night, the motel’s parking lot hosted secret scented encounters that translated the cinematic storytelling of the Vendetta campaign into something physical. The event brought together real-life couples and duos who embody the us-against-the-world narrative of the fragrances, including Valentino Beauty ambassadors Dakota Johnson and Alexander Skarsgård, Nicola Peltz Beckham and Brooklyn Beckham, Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris, Yung Lean and Zoë Bleu Arquette, Angela Nikolau and Ivan Beerkus, and Dave Franco and Alison Brie. Solange, Keke Palmer, Justice Smith, Brianne Howey, and Mckenna Grace were also in attendance.

Music carried the night, opening with a DJ set by Anastazja, followed by a rooftop performance from Yung Lean. Surkin closed the celebration with a DJ set, during which he revealed the full mix of his original reinterpretation of Pet Shop Boys’ “It’s a Sin” for the Vendetta campaign. At the centre stood Vendetta Donna and Vendetta Uomo. Donna opens with blood orange before unfolding into tuberose and sandalwood, while Uomo moves from ginger into a cinnamon liqueur accord and a patchouli trail.
