Tommy Hilfiger staged a personal New York celebration at The Plaza Hotel, presenting Spring 2027 in the legendary address where he once lived with his family. The hotel became the backdrop for modern prep, with uptown tradition and downtown style passing through the same revolving doors.

“For 40 years, I’ve been inspired by the style of New Yorkers, how the people of the city take the classics and make them their own,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “This season, The Plaza is our playground, where Tommy icons feel remixed and refined for today.”

Classic prep silhouettes were modernised through proportion, colour, and fabrication, with red, white, and blue refreshed alongside yellows and greens. Heritage pieces appeared in new patterns, from colour-blocked rugby dresses and Oxford shirting in Ithaca stripes to tartan plaid on blazers and Ivy jackets. Polos shifted between shrunken and oversized shapes, chinos were revived as high-cut shorts or more modest cuts with twisted seams, and the Tommy Flag was faded across suede and silk-cashmere, as well as totes. Footwear included ’90s-inspired two-tone skate sneakers, boat shoes, penny loafers, and a leather pool slide.
