Thom Browne Reimagines the ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14

Thom Browne has taken on the ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14. The collaboration brings together technical performance and Thom Browne’s approach to tailoring.
The shoe keeps the iconic shape of the Kayano 14 but dresses it in luxury materials. Real suede appears on the grey and black versions. Smooth leather on the white. The upper retains its original styling, but the finishes shift toward something more refined.
Details carry Thom Browne signatures. A lace catcher is colored with grosgrain. On the white and black versions, it is red, white, and blue. On the grey, it is tonal. The colors nod to medals Thom Browne won as a swimmer and runner. Two sets of laces come with the shoes. One set has metal tips in red, white, and blue. The other is two-toned, referencing sports heritage.
The ASICS stripes get a cross-stitch finish, a small gesture toward craftsmanship. Piping accents appear, another tailoring reference. Inside, the insole features both brand names alongside Thom Browne’s university stripe. Red, white, and blue for the white and black shoes. Grey and white for the grey.
The shoes are breathable, detail-driven, and meant to be worn. Check it out below:
