Tania Marcial presented her “Delivery” collection at 080 Barcelona Fashion. The theme is personal. For many years, she worked delivering pizzas while studying fashion, before her career started to take off. The work was hard and precarious. But it also gave her countless experiences and visual references, and those have now shaped this proposal.

The collection presents different roles. There are the couriers, exposed to harsh weather and temperature contrasts. Then there are the consumers of delivery, waiting at home with a comfortable and relaxed appearance. Each group has its own life, its own aesthetic, its own story.

A lot of research went into this collection. Several fabrics were created from scratch, using different techniques and manipulations to add texture to the pieces. Typography and color contrast play a major role. They form texts and abstract compositions that work as prints. The typographies were designed based on the collection’s concept, using words like “mojao,” “cancelao,” “express,” and “bochorno.”
