Sunshine on Snow: Tom Ford’s Soleil Neige
by Adriano Batista
Tom Ford has introduced a new version of his fragrance, Soleil Neige. It is presented in the brand’s signature fluted bottle with silver-toned details. The scent is meant to capture the feeling of sunshine on alpine snow.

The fragrance opens with bright, citrus notes. It uses a special form of bergamot, called bergamot vert, to create a green, wintry freshness. Cold-pressed mandarin adds a lasting vitality. A crisp, saline mineral accord adds a frosty quality.
The heart of the scent features white flowers. There is a note of orange blossom, which has fresh and honeyed facets. Rose absolute adds a warm florality. A floral molecule called Karmaflor is used to intensify the winter atmosphere with a transparent white flower note.
The base provides a sun-drenched warmth. It blends a velvety musk with the creamy, vanilla-like aroma of benzoin resinoid. Ambroxan adds an ambery, woody impact. Notes of sandalwood and cistus labdanum deepen the scent, aiming to evoke the feeling of sun on snow.
Soleil Neige is available in several sizes: 10mL, 30mL, 50mL, 100mL, and 150mL. There is also an All Over Body Spray in an ergonomic, portable bottle that sprays in all directions.
