Stone Island Sound Presents “Hive Mind” on Special Edition Vinyl
by Adriano Batista
Stone Island has announced the release of a special edition vinyl of Hive Mind, the collaborative single by Knocked Loose and Denzel Curry, through Stone Island Sound.
Originally released in February 2026, Hive Mind marked Knocked Loose’s first new music following their 2024 album You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To. The project brings together the intensity of the band’s hardcore with Denzel Curry’s vocal presence, reflecting the cross-genre spirit that has long informed both artists. The music video features the Stone Island Sound Friendly Pressure sound system, with members of the band seen wearing Stone Island throughout.
The vinyl is pressed in a semi-transparent milky green splatter finish, referencing Stone Island’s experimentation with colour and garment dyeing. The tracklist includes Hive Mind on Side A and the instrumental on Side B. The release builds on Stone Island’s relationship with the band and the wider hardcore scene. Isaac Hale, guitarist of Knocked Loose, was previously featured in the Community as a Form of Research campaign and has since worn bespoke Stone Island garments developed for the band’s live performances, including a custom vest worn during their stadium tour supporting Metallica. Knocked Loose also participated in The Calm and the Chaos, Stone Island’s latest cultural research project, released on 4 August.
The special edition vinyl is available from 20 August at Stone Island flagships including New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Toronto, London, Paris, Milan, and Tokyo, as well as knockedloose.com and selected retail partners.
