Stone Island has introduced its Denim Research for Fall/Winter 2026-27, further developing the line first reintroduced last year. This season brings four seasonal washes: medium blue, light blue, grey, and black. New treatments such as Laser Pigment, Corroded Reflective, and Hand Sprayed Reflective continue the brand’s practice of applying innovation to classic categories of menswear.

A standout is a lightweight 13oz denim jacket, garment-dyed and laminated with a highly refractive film incorporating thousands of glass microspheres, then manually sprayed to achieve a shaded effect that makes each garment unique. The garment-dyed down liner is attached to the outer using the brand’s iconic Dutch rope system. A fatigue shirt serves as the base of the collection rather than the familiar trucker jacket, with chambray shirting in indigo, brushed indigo, and organic cotton flannel completing the denim offering.

As part of the Community as a Form of Research campaign, rapper Skepta wears the 4100002 Hand Sprayed Reflective Light Bull Denim-TC, a lightweight 13oz denim jacket with a detachable down vest, garment-dyed, laminated with a refractive film, and manually sprayed for a shaded effect. Actor Stephen Graham wears the 4100006 Laser Pigment Indigo Denim, a coach jacket in 13.5oz denim woven with indigo-dyed yarn, featuring multiple pockets and a front snap closure, stone washed, manually sprayed with coloured pigments, and lasered with an irregular pattern that makes each piece unique.
