Stone Island and New Balance have revealed the latest chapter in their partnership with a capsule collection built for on and off the pitch. The collaboration draws from 1990s football culture and translates it through material treatment and graphic development.

The on-pitch offering features a Football Kit with a jersey and shorts in engineered jacquard. A bespoke artwork combines the Stone Island Compass, New Balance logo, and a two-stripe motif. Both pieces carry flock-applied branding, while the socks incorporate open mesh knit zones and embroidered logos. The Pro Football is constructed with 32 thermally bonded panels for true flight and reduced water uptake, with a micro-textured surface for glide. Additional on-pitch pieces will be unveiled on 4 June.

Off the pitch, the STONE ISLAND | NEW BALANCE ABZORB 1890 trainer blends heritage with innovation. The model uses the original 2002 sole unit with full-length SBS ABZORB cushioning. The upper pairs micro ripstop mesh with no-sew synthetic overlays in a wave cutout construction, finished with a reflective teardrop at the toe.

Apparel and accessories continue the focus on treated surfaces. The Nylon Prismatico-TC hooded jacket is inspired by the Mussola Prismatica, made from lightweight nylon bonded to a grooved polyurethane film that creates a liquid, three-dimensional appearance. The same fabric is used for a matching training bag. A reversible track jacket and trousers come in bi-colour resin-coated cotton ripstop. Organic cotton jersey and fleece pieces, including a sweatshirt, shorts, and T-shirt, are garment-dyed in juniper green and ivory white.

The campaign features professional footballers Endrick and Bukayo Saka, photographed by Bolade Banjo. Check it out below:
