For Fall/Winter 2026, Steven Passaro presents a collection titled Ethereal Shift. It marks an emotional chapter focused on transformation, elevation, and release. The guiding idea is that “We must break to let the light in.”
The collection explores the moment of fracture as an awakening. It is about a quiet tension that creates space, an invitation to surrender. Each silhouette reflects this passage, where breaking becomes the start of light.
Attuned to the current emotional climate, Passaro draws from a collective desire for meaning, slowness, and reconnection. The collection reflects an instinctive, universal spirituality rooted in the body and lived experience. It acknowledges a world where identity and forms are in constant motion.
In a statement, Passaro notes that the design process heightened his awareness of repetition and gesture. Dressing became a ritual, a way to reconnect with intention. Each layer became a step toward transformation, allowing the body and garment to shift together. Clothes are treated as artifacts of this ritual, part of an intimate choreography of layering and reshaping.
