New York-based tailoring label SIVAN returns to New York Fashion Week for Fall/Winter 2026 with a runway presentation titled The Murder at Sivan Manor, the brand’s most theatrical collection to date. Drawing from classic murder mysteries, the season unfolds within a 1930s backdrop where drama, misdirection, and sharply tailored characters collide.
A whodunnit at heart, the collection uses the genre to explore moral ambiguity and the failures of justice. Each look introduces a character who feels recognizable yet misunderstood, inviting the audience to question not only who is guilty, but why.
Fabric remains the foundation. Devotion to wool and deadstock textiles continues, anchoring the collection in craft and sustainability. A navy and red chalk-striped Shetland flannel suiting debuts alongside colorful tweeds that evoke English heritage while imagining a narrative inside a gilded Upper East Side mansion. The color palette is darker and more restrained. Rich reds take the lead, acting as narrative cues that signal suspicion or mark characters as either culprits or red herrings.
