SHOOP‘s Spring/Summer 2027 collection, New Classic, is built around a simple idea: the new classic is not about looking timeless, but about remaining yourself. Rather than returning to a traditional idea of the classic, the collection asks what clothing can offer in a world that never stops moving. We live in a state of constant stimulation, where even the way we dress can become a search for security. New Classic proposes taking a step back.
The collection is built around minimal designs with clean silhouettes and subtle details, garments designed to be worn repeatedly and adapted to different ways of dressing. Freed from a single prescribed way of wearing them, they leave room for personal interpretation. Running appears as a motif in the project’s visual language, an image of speed and constant movement, moving forward without always knowing where you are going. Against that motion, New Classic proposes reclaiming the time to stop and return to yourself.
