Saint Laurent Fall 2026 campaign
by Gabriel Córdoba Acosta
With summer barely on the horizon, Saint Laurent is already thinking in a different season altogether. The Parisian house, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello, has unveiled its Fall 2026 campaign, setting a tone that feels instinctive rather than announced.
Photographed by Talia Chetrit, the campaign brings together Austin Butler and SJ, two figures who occupy the frame with contrasting rhythms yet share the same Saint Laurent sensibility of control and restraint. Chetrit’s approach avoids spectacle, instead favouring closeness and immediacy, as though each image has been intercepted rather than staged.
The setting is stripped back and quietly ambiguous, offering just enough detail for the clothes to establish their own presence. Within this space, Vaccarello’s tailoring becomes the focal point, precise and disciplined, with silhouettes that extend and contract around the body with exacting clarity.
Butler moves through the imagery with a composed looseness, balancing formality with ease, while SJ introduces a different kind of stillness, less about performance and more about presence. Together they create a subtle tension that holds the campaign in a constant state of quiet friction.
Across the collection, Vaccarello continues to refine the language he has built at Saint Laurent. Leather, tailoring and eveningwear are reduced to their essential lines, shaped by restraint rather than excess. The result is a campaign that feels less like a statement and more like an atmosphere, precise, contained and undeniably charged.
