Sagaboi presented its Spring/Summer 2027 collection during Milan Fashion Week at Fondazione Sozzani. The collection, titled JAMMIN, explored how Caribbean people transformed pressure into

Unfolding through three chapters, Pressure, Collision, and JAMMIN, the presentation traced how movement became language and fragmentation became identity. Prints spanned New Caribbean Baroque, Sugarcane Field, Girmitiya, and JAMMIN Ikat. Materials moved between Madras, Ikat, Chikankari, tie-dye, crochet, and sequin, with handmade crochet produced by women crocheters in Trinidad and Tobago. Relaxed tailoring and double-breasted suiting drew from Caribbean sartorial culture. Coral-inspired jewellery, raffia bags, and BIG BIG migration-inspired holdalls completed the offering, alongside multi-coloured knits featuring Caribbean pecten shell embroidery.

JAMMIN is the Caribbean art of defying pressure. It’s a love letter to the people who built it and to those who continue to move its story forward.
