Emma Rowen Rose‘s Spring/Summer 2027 collection, Secret Garden, began with a question borrowed from Emil Cioran: “Can you hear the secret melody hidden within each rose?” The collection is an immersive poem, born from a desire to write a rose anthology of poetry. Poetry, for Rose, is condensed beauty, words that strike more than they soothe.

From that paradox emerged the collection’s concept: giving strength to delicacy. Arming softness. At Rowen Rose, femininity has never been delicate in the fragile sense. It is assertive and sharp.

The collection grants access to Rowen Rose’s Secret Garden, a title drawn from the French expression jardin secret, that inner space where private thoughts and feelings are kept. The collection feels like a conversation with a rose, or perhaps the confession of one. Flowers are theatrical and loud, solid and sculptural. Palettes complement and confront each other. One caresses, then strikes. Beauty becomes so intense it feels almost violent, in its most poetic form.

The show took place on Monday 22 June during Milan Fashion Week, staged in the ballrooms of Villa Arconati, the little Milanese Versailles.
