ROBI, one of the voices shaping the new generation of Puerto Rican pop, has teamed up with actor and singer Aron Piper on “De Sueño En Sueño,” a collaboration connecting Puerto Rico and Spain. The track is rooted in alternative pop, with atmospheric production and a restrained sound that keeps both vocals at the front.
The song captures the tension between wanting to forget and continuing to feel, moving through the hazy territory where memories find refuge in dreams. “I like that ‘De Sueño En Sueño’ speaks to something I think many of us have experienced: thinking you’ve moved on from someone, only to realize they still exist in some corner of you,” said ROBI. “They might not be part of your day-to-day life anymore, but they surface in a memory, a song, or when you fall asleep. Aron connected with that emotion very naturally, and I feel that added another dimension to the song.”
