Rier‘s Spring 2027 collection carries the fresh morning air of the mountainside. There’s a spontaneity to the combinations this season, with weightless fabrications suited for warm spring days, loosening the utilitarian edge that has defined the brand’s Alpine wardrobe.

Silk floral jacquards and crocus-embroidered tulles are layered over fine rib jerseys and tactical boots. Light shear knits and silk twill gowns soften outdoor utility. Linen tailoring and waxed cotton outerwear translate a deconstructed approach to rustic elegance. It’s a tribute to Rier’s roots, the heritage of the Steiner family’s Alpine origins, mismatching utilitarian style with the ageless charm of its codes. The colour palette moves from optical whites on jersey and cotton to flurries of butter yellow, geranium pink, lilac, and poppy red, accenting the tree-bark brown, granite grey mélange, fern green, asphalt, and deep Nebula blue that form the collection’s core. New silk foulards add a bucolic layer, with a Tyrolean check weave of poppy red and white.

A key addition this season is “Lederwerk,” a new range of leather footwear made exclusively for Rier in Northern Italy that celebrates the brand’s Tyrolean heritage. Sharp square toes, goat and calf leather structure knotted vintage climbing-inspired sandals, wooden-heeled derbies with a metal-studded detachable front flap, a light square-toed mule, and a soft laced slipper ideal for travel and spring.

For the fourth collaboration, Rier has reworked two ultra-lightweight high-performance styles from Salomon. The XA JUNGLE high tactical boots come in a sophisticated shade of Nebula blue, alongside a new exclusive low version of the XA PRO 3D featuring water drain holes, high-performance climbing features, toe protection, and the ultra-resistant Chassis endurance sole. Inspired by classic spring outerwear, the monochrome Nebula on this tactical footwear reflects the shift between city and countryside. While these styles are usually distributed in specific workwear networks, Rier offers an elevated version for fashion-forward customers, to be paired with the ready-to-wear collection.
