Ray-Ban Opens a New Kind of Space in Soho
by Adriano Batista
Ray-Ban has opened a space in New York’s Soho neighborhood called Ray-Ban House. The address is 62 Prince Street, on the corner of Prince and Lafayette. The space is not a store in the traditional sense, but a place where retail merges with culture.

The project was conceived by the brand’s in-house creative team. A two-story townhouse has been turned into a dynamic environment. During the day, the architecture reflects the city in soft distortions, with curved metal surfaces that capture fragments of light. At night, the space folds inward and emits a glow outward, almost like a beacon. Inside, curves of satin-finished metal, mirrored ceilings, and deep red floors create a flow that feels cinematic. Glasses sit alongside vinyl records, books, and found objects.
At the center of the space is a kitchen. Under the direction of Pasquale Cozzolino, the culinary offering reflects a cultural mix that does not stick to a single cuisine but moves between them. Japanese milk bread rolls are reinterpreted from an American perspective, and they sit alongside raw preparations, carpaccios, and small plates designed for sharing. During the day, there are lighter moments like matcha and cold-pressed juices. As the day progresses, the atmosphere becomes more social and dynamic.

The Ray-Ban universe is present but not imposed. Classic icons sit alongside experimental proposals from Ray-Ban Studios, with silhouettes that take the brand’s language to a sharper level. Upstairs, after a discreet entrance, the space changes scale. The VIP Room offers a more intimate and precise rhythm. In that room, the Wayfarer Puffer Diamond becomes a personal piece, with materials, stones, and colors combining in creations that feel closer to jewelry than eyewear.
Ray-Ban House opened on May 4th with an event that reflected its essence. Oscar and the Wolf performed, followed by Daniela Lalita. Jennie Kim, the brand’s global ambassador, was part of the evening alongside a mix of people from the city. Check it out below:

The space is open Monday to Sunday from 10am to 8pm.
