Push Plus One: An Exhibition by Photographer Bill Georgoussis
by Adriano Batista

The K-Gold Temporary Gallery presents “Push Plus One,” an exhibition of work by fashion photographer Bill Georgoussis. Curated by Nicolas Vamvouklis, the show offers a retrospective of the artist’s 30-year international career, including both well-known images and previously unseen material from his archive.

Georgoussis is one of the few Greek photographers who has maintained consistent work with major global fashion and art magazines. His career spans a period of significant change in the industry, from the peak of print publishing to the current era of digital images.
The exhibition focuses on his ongoing reflection on image-making. In an age of constant content creation, Georgoussis’s approach is defined by a slower, more deliberate pace. He takes fewer shots, emphasizing observation and simplicity.

For the show, he has also created a participatory installation. It offers a view into his process by displaying personal objects, technical equipment, and analogue experiments together. A bilingual catalogue will accompany the exhibition.
The exhibition opens on January 17, 2026, and will be open on weekends.
