PUMA and Porsche Revive the Pepita Pattern for a New Collection

PUMA and Porsche have revived one of the most recognisable patterns in automotive design, and this time it has moved far beyond the seats. The PUMA x Porsche Legacy Pepita collection makes the iconic Pepita check the star, drawing from the first-generation Porsche 911, the model that helped cement it as a true emblem.
Few design elements in automotive history carry the weight of the Pepita. The original black and white design first appeared on the seats of the Porsche 356 and became one of the brand’s most distinctive features alongside the 911. The collection takes that statement from the seats to the street. The Pepita print runs throughout the T7 jacket, the Speedcat, the Suede, hoodies, and more. Each piece applies the original black and white print to some of PUMA’s most iconic silhouettes, designs with their own heritage that now carry that of another brand. The result rewards those who recognise the reference while working just as well for those who do not.
