In nearly 25 years of history, Netflix has become the world’s most popular streaming platform. In recent years, it has enriched its catalog with original productions for the delight of binge-watchers. This Spring/Summer 2023 season, Lacoste adopts the codes of eight iconic Netflix productions, including its famous crocodile, for a mixed pop-spirited collaboration.

Connecting cultures through culture, Netflix has given Lacoste carte blanche to appropriate the codes of its most iconic series. Chosen for the values they convey and the diversity of their audiences, the eight series in the collaboration are: Stranger Things, Bridgerton, Lupin, Money Heist, The Witcher, Shadow and Bone, Sex Education, and Elite. Whether for adventure lovers, romance enthusiasts, or teenage series enthusiasts, this collection has been created for all series fans of any genre.

We are delighted with this collaboration, which has turned out to be a unique and unexpected encounter between our two worlds; two global references in terms of creativity and innovation, both with the capacity and the willingness to bring communities from all walks of life together. This collection born from the collaboration is a reflection of our codes and our expertise,” comments Catherine Spindler, Deputy CEO of Lacoste.

We truly believe that clothing can be a powerful means of storytelling, and partnering with Lacoste has been a unique opportunity to blend the worlds of fashion and entertainment,” explains Josh Simon, Vice President of Consumer Products at Netflix. “This collection is an exciting and creative way for fans to express their love for our stories and characters.”

The most iconic pieces of Lacoste’s style have been revisited according to the universes of the eight series. Polos, caps, sweatshirts, and tracksuits are part of this new wardrobe, halfway between fashion and sport. Lacoste’s iconic crocodile is dressed up as Netflix’s characters for the occasion, embroidered or printed on the collection’s garments. For Stranger Things, the crocodile’s face becomes the fascinating Demogorgon. As a small tribute to Queen Charlotte of Bridgerton, it wears an exaggerated wig. Other pieces are adorned with Toile de Jouy-style prints, with camouflaged crocodiles sailing among Netflix’s iconic graphics.

Created for both the living room and the street, the garments in this collaboration are available on both Netflix’s online store and Lacoste.com, as well as in Lacoste stores around the world.
