For the Spring/Summer 2026 campaign, Prada does not simply show the clothes. It shows us looking at them. The brand asks American artist Anne Collier to create the images. Her work has long questioned how we see photographs, and what they ask of us.

Collier’s idea is simple and clever. She creates still-life compositions. In each one, a pair of hands holds up a separate photograph. That photograph, shot by Oliver Hadlee Pearch, shows a person wearing the Prada collection. The cast includes actors like Carey Mulligan and Nicholas Hoult, musician John Glacier, and model Liu Wen.

So you are looking at hands looking at a picture. It makes you aware of your own role as an observer. It frames the fashion image as a physical object, something to be held, examined, and desired. The campaign becomes about the act of seeing itself.
