Prada will present Satellites II, the fourteenth iteration of Prada Mode, at the Hotel Chelsea in New York from June 3 to 7, 2026. The multi-day event coincides with the Tribeca Festival and is a collaboration with Danish film director Nicolas Winding Refn and Japanese game creator Hideo Kojima.

The project builds on Satellites, an exhibition exploring the connection between love, language and creativity through the friendship of the two artists, which was presented at Prada Aoyama Tokyo in summer 2025. For Prada Mode New York, Satellites II moves through communication and human connection across languages, cultures and spaces, interwoven with the romantic iconography of the Hotel Chelsea and other New York venues.

The event will take place across different sections of the hotel. A spatial narrative moves between public, domestic and intimate environments, reflecting the balance between private spaces and collective accessibility. The cultural program, conceived by the curators, invokes an invasion of the historical space with a classical yet progressive science fiction aesthetic.

For the first two days, the event functions as a private members’ club. Select hotel rooms serve as micro television studios, hosting original performances for invited guests who will stay at the hotel with attendant dinners and celebrations. Over the next three days, June 5 through 7, the space opens to the public. The same hotel rooms become art installations, and additional areas throughout the hotel host site-specific works centered on the dialogue and obsessions of Refn and Kojima.

The public program expands to other venues across the city, including installations, screenings, artist conversations and special food programming.
