Pigmentarium Paradiso Gets a Summer Update from Prague Art Students
by Adriano Batista
Pigmentarium has released a new limited edition of its Paradiso fragrance for summer 2026. The design comes from Greta Vrabcová, a student at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, known as UMPRUM.

The project grew out of a collaboration with the Studio of Graphic Design and Visual Communication at the school, led by Zuzana Lednická. Nine students spent the winter developing their own interpretations of what Paradiso could look like. They worked with an abstract brief. How do you depict scent? How do you visualize something as personal as summer or paradise?
The winning design took the simplest route. Boxes and flacons now carry striking fingerprints. Greasy marks from sunscreen. Smudges from ice cream and fruit juice. The idea is to capture summer as a feeling of complete freedom, which here means accepting imperfection.

Greta Vrabcová
Vrabcová described her thinking this way: “Feeling free enough to be imperfect, living life to the fullest, running, shouting, feeling, moving, chasing your goal and never doubting — paradise is here, without any worries.”
The fragrance itself is a modified version of the original Paradiso. The grapefruit accord is more pronounced, juicier. It sits alongside juniper, verbena, pepper, patchouli and vetiver. The full notes run as follows: top notes of grapefruit double shot, mandarin and rhubarb; heart notes of juniper and pepper; base notes of vetiver and patchouli.

Paradiso has always worked with artists on its summer editions. The first campaign used collage. Over the past three seasons, the brand has given artists complete freedom to reinterpret the perfume and its flacon. This fourth edition marks the first time students have taken it on.
Lednická, who guided the project, put it this way: “How many versions of Paradiso can there be? How do you depict something as abstract as scent? Such a brief belongs almost to the realm of dreams. We are moving in a space of emotions, fleeting memories and imagination.”

The limited edition Paradiso arrives as a parfum in 50 ml flacons and will be available at niche perfumeries worldwide.
