The first collaboration between the brands Piet and KidSuper is rooted in friendship. Piet was founded by Pedro Andrade, and KidSuper by the artist and designer Colm Dillane. Their partnership began long before any official project, built on a foundation of creative trust.

The collection focuses on craftsmanship. This idea is defined as a combination of manual work, technical development, and textile innovation. KidSuper brings its artistic language to the table, known for hand-painted illustrations, faces, and camouflage patterns. Piet contributes its specialized techniques, like manual crochet, 3D knitting, and precise embroidered constructions.

The entire process was decentralized and fluid. Colm Dillane shared artworks and visual references remotely. The team at Piet worked on material tests, construction, and technical solutions. Decisions were made intuitively, from a distance. The trust was so complete that Colm only saw the finished collection one day before it walked the runway in Paris this past January.

The final pieces show a clear meeting of the two brands. KidSuper’s artistic works are integrated into the clothing using Piet’s own developed processes. These methods imprint KidSuper’s identity directly into the finishing, the patterns, and the very construction of the textiles. The campaign for the collection features the footballer Zé Roberto.
