Pierre Gasly has joined Lacoste as an ambassador. The French Formula 1 driver will embody one of the maison’s most iconic pieces: the polo shirt.

Born in Rouen in 1996, Gasly discovered karting at six before rising through the ranks of motorsport. He made his Formula 1 debut in 2017. In 2019, he became the youngest French driver to stand on an F1 podium at the Brazilian Grand Prix. The following year, he won the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, securing the first French victory in the discipline since 1996.

Gasly said: “Lacoste is an iconic French Maison that has transformed its sporting heritage into a thoroughly contemporary vision of style. The polo shirt is perhaps its ultimate expression: a garment born on the tennis court that has become a symbol of effortless elegance. I am very happy to be one of its faces today and I am eager to bring this collaboration to life through new projects in the coming months.
