Oakley has unveiled the Infiniloop, a new design that transforms the geometry of infinity into a wearable artifact. Born from a pursuit of experimentation, the frame is built around the idea of using the fewest possible lines to support a lens on the face, a single continuous form that achieves what the brand describes as its greatest design challenge.
The frame is composed of two materials: titanium for the upper section and O-Matter for the lower, joining at only a few delicate points of intersection. The intentional use of negative space makes the lenses appear to float within the frame, revealing their outer edges in a visual play of wearable architecture. The Infiniloop will be available in limited quantities in Polished Chrome and Matte Black, both with Prizm Black lenses.
The engineering is grounded in the present, but the inspiration draws from the Future Genesis saga, Oakley’s creative platform that guides its narrative and product innovations. The launch is accompanied by an exclusive collection of Future Genesis – Chapter 2 comic books, which continue the story of the brand’s heroine Maxine Fearlight and her journey into the outside world. The Oakley Infiniloop will be available from 14 July at Oakley.com and in select Oakley stores.
