Nothing has announced Club Nothing, a global initiative combining immersive music events with a $40,000 fund aimed at supporting independent music. The programme will kick off in New York on 9 July, transforming an unexpected Brooklyn location into a pop-up club for one night, before heading to Tokyo on 30 July.

Alongside the events, the Club Nothing Fund will award $10,000 to four international creators to help bring their own party, event, or festival to life. Applications opened on 1 July via nothing.tech/club-nothing and close on 9 August, with winners announced later that month. Proposals will be evaluated by a jury including DJ and producer Manuka Honey, Dazed Music Editor Solomon Pace-McCarrick, and Nothing’s Global Head of Communications Shavone Charles, among others.

Community has always been at the heart of Nothing,” said Erica Travis, Senior Community Manager at Nothing. “Club Nothing was created to foster spaces where people can gather around a shared passion for music, while offering emerging creators the platform and support they need to bring their projects to life.”

The initiative follows recent moves that have strengthened music’s role within the brand. Nothing recently announced Charli xcx as its first global ambassador. As a shareholder, she joins other investors such as The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia in supporting the company’s mission. The appointments of Charlie Smith as Chief Brand Officer, following his tenure at LOEWE, and Shavone Charles as Global Head of Communications, formerly of TikTok and Instagram, have further anchored music and entertainment as key pillars.
