NOMAD is returning to St. Moritz. For its ninth edition, from February 12 to 15, 2026, it will take over the newly renovated Villa Beaulieu. The event has made the alpine town a regular destination for a specific mix of collectible design and art.

The location is the point. NOMAD chooses spaces that are characters themselves. Villa Beaulieu, once a clinic, now offers large rooms with panoramic views. The organizers will furnish it with pieces from old Swiss hotels and private villas, placing heritage objects in a new context. The goal is to create a feeling that is both sophisticated and relaxed—more like a home than a showroom.

This approach defines the experience. The mood is meant to be that of a salon. Conversations happen in softly lit rooms. Works are discovered slowly, in an atmosphere that encourages personal connection rather than quick viewing. It challenges the standard idea of a design fair.

NOMAD is also growing, with plans for editions in Abu Dhabi and the Hamptons. But its identity remains flexible, shaped by the feeling of a place rather than a fixed formula. In St. Moritz, Villa Beaulieu will become a temporary home for a few days, a gathering point for an international community of collectors and creatives who come for this specific, intimate dialogue.
