New Balance has unveiled the 950, a new silhouette inspired by mid-80s basketball sneakers and designed for a new generation. The model combines vintage design with a clean profile, crafted from leather and suede with a wide toe box, a padded “N” logo, and a basketball label on the tongue. It’s built for everyday life, on and off the court.
The global launch campaign stars NBA player and New Balance ambassador Cooper Flagg alongside his siblings, adding a personal dimension to the project. Built around family and connection, the campaign reinforces the bond between sport and lifestyle.
Check it out below:
“This experience means a lot to me because I’ve been able to share it with my brothers. There’s nothing more authentic than that,” said Flagg. “Growing up, everything revolved around family and basketball, so bringing those two worlds together with New Balance felt completely natural. The 950 has become my go-to off-court shoe: it’s comfortable, easy to wear, and fits my style perfectly.”
The New Balance 950 is available globally at newbalance.com, in New Balance stores, and at select retailers.
