Music festival season is officially underway, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that being prepared can make all the difference. Last summer, I headed to Yaga Festival with our global editor Anna Barr, for what was my very first camping festival experience. While the weekend was unforgettable, let’s just say I wasn’t exactly equipped for it. Between the endless rain, muddy fields, and my overly optimistic packing strategy, I quickly realized that a few dream items would have made life a lot easier.

Fast-forward to this year, and I’m approaching festival season with a much more practical mindset. After learning the hard way what’s worth carrying and what’s not, I’ve put together a wishlist of pieces that would have been game-changers at Yaga, and that still feel like essential additions for any festival-goer this summer.

Whether you’re dancing from sunrise to sunset, braving unpredictable weather, or sleeping under the stars, these are the festival must-haves we’re packing (or wishing we had packed) for the season ahead.
