MR PORTER Unveils High Summer Part 2
by Adriano Batista
Summer dressing should be easy, sharp when it needs to be, relaxed when it wants to be. MR PORTER’s High Summer Part 2 campaign gets that balance right, offering a mix of polished and laid-back pieces for every sun-soaked moment, from beachside weddings to rooftop dinners.
The edit pulls from a strong lineup of designers. There’s TOM FORD’s tailoring (clean but not stiff), alongside LOEWE’s bold printed shirts and ZEGNA’s lightweight linen trousers for when the heat kicks in. For bigger occasions, Bottega Veneta’s standout suiting and Polo Ralph Lauren Purple Label’s timeless cuts keep things refined without feeling stuffy.
Casualwear gets the same attention. The Row brings minimalist luxury, Drake’s offers soft polos, and Studio Nicholson’s tailored shorts prove that even relaxed pieces can have structure. Accessories from SAINT LAURENT and John Lobb’s expertly made shoes tie everything together with quiet precision.
As Daniel Todd, MR PORTER’s Buying Director, puts it: “This edit is about looking put-together without trying too hard. It’s for the guy who wants to dress up but still keep that ease.” Shot in Cape Town, the campaign mirrors that idea: effortless, confident, and made for the best days of summer.
