Moschino unveiled its Spring/Summer 2027 collection during Milan Fashion Week.

In a manifesto, the brand laid out its thinking for SS27, setting the tone for the house’s next chapter. The text calls for reigniting Moschino without imitating it, a return to thought and the luxury of intelligence. Breaking the rules, it argues, is a spontaneous necessity, and that spirit should come with colour, with pleasure, and with conscious fun.

The manifesto describes a widespread platform and a need for a clear, universal present-day language. Irony is positioned as a stance used as style, though it risks being reduced to ornament. Clothes are not the centre, it states, but the structure and architecture of a fluid present. Fashion, in this view, serves to tell the truth about image, consumption, and identity. The appeal of irreverence lies in precision without excess.

The approach moves through studying the archive and the concept, understanding without replicating, and creating new references. It calls for speaking to real people who live for art, music, and beauty without posing, positioning Moschino as a cultural loudspeaker.
