Moncler Grenoble presented its Fall/Winter 2026 collection in Aspen, Colorado. The location was not just a backdrop but a key part of the story. The brand, with roots dating to 1952, found a symbolic match in the town. Both Aspen and Moncler Grenoble found their footing in the 1950s, evolving around a deep connection to mountain culture.

The event was a two day experience. Guests skied and snowboarded before the show. For the presentation itself, they rode snowmobiles through the forest at night to a snow covered runway. Models navigated moguls in the new looks, while light projections of alpine trees danced on the surrounding woods.

The collection itself is a fusion of inspirations. It pulls from the vast landscapes of Colorado, the refined elegance of 1950s America, and Moncler’s own heritage of high performance style. The Aspen leaf appears as a recurring motif, printed, quilted, and embroidered into garments. The color palette and rugged fabrics like waxed cotton are informed by the local environment. Echoes of 1950s America are clear. Classic jacket silhouettes from that era, with cinched waists and rounded volumes, are reimagined with down quilting. The sense of style from a time when performance wear used wool and cotton is updated through Moncler’s technical innovation. Details like western style piping on jacket shoulders are both aesthetic and practical, designed for carrying skis. The brand honors its European roots with traditional alpine materials. Loden and textured tweeds appear alongside delicate hand stitched floral embroidery on collars and pockets, nodding to the quiet poetry of traditional mountain dress.

At its core, the collection remains high performance ski and snowboard gear. The technical suits are waterproof, windproof, and breathable. This practical foundation is softened by expressive details like florals and maps, bringing a sense of place to gear made for extreme conditions. The show also featured a new colorway for the snowboard co designed with brand ambassador Shaun White’s label, WHITESPACE.

To coincide with the show, Moncler Grenoble opened its first American flagship store in Aspen.
