Clothes come with instructions, even when nobody writes them down. A shirt goes on the torso. The neckline circles the neck. For Spring/Summer 2027, MM6 questions these rules through clothes made for everyday life and people on the move, asking what happens when familiar things are worn differently.

In menswear, the logic moves sideways. On shirts, collars and button plackets shift from the centre towards the side of the body. The wardrobe itself stays straightforward: tailored suits, biker jackets, shirts, T-shirts, trousers. What changes is where things begin and end. Construction is simplified too, with reduced closures, snaps, and shrunken proportions making garments immediate to put on and reposition. Overdyes, starch treatments, and painted, papery surfaces alter otherwise familiar materials.

A collaboration with Havaianas applies the same principle to an archetype worn by millions, with the number six becoming a design mechanism rather than just a number. The flip-flop splits into toes, grows an extra one, or multiplies into six differently shaped soles stacked on top of each other.
