Marine Serre and Chaisor have come together to reinterpret an icon of French furniture. Launching in September, the collaboration introduces three limited-edition, individually numbered Chaisor chairs, revisited through Marine Serre’s All-Over Moon motif. The editions come in Tan, Inverse Tan, and Denim.

Manufactured in France since 1962, the Chaisor chair has endured through its distinctive silhouette and construction. Its recognisable “chapeau de gendarme” backrest and the “croix de Saint André” reinforced base give it stability and presence. Each chair is guaranteed for 30 years, with many pieces from the 1960s still in use today. Handmade through an artisanal process, the chair embodies values of craftsmanship and durability that align with Marine Serre’s own approach to heritage and the way objects live with their owners.

The All-Over Moon motif transforms the chair into a collectible piece, bringing together the character of an original 1960s design with Marine Serre’s visual language. Entirely produced in France, the collaboration is designed to be used and kept over time.

To accompany the launch, Marine Serre will share a series of conversations featuring selected talents invited to sit on the chairs and share stories about objects tied to memory and emotion.

The Marine Serre x Chaisor chairs will be available exclusively at marineserre.com.
