MANCANDY’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection, titled Corazón Filoso or “Bladed Heart,” is a document of the making itself. The central idea is that the unfinished process holds more truth than a polished outcome. The collection begins intuitively in the studio, treating fashion as work that is always in motion. Garments change shape as they are being constructed; their final form is simply a consequence of that act of making. This approach extends to the view of the wearer, moving past fixed gender codes to propose clothing as a fluid space.

The season’s symbol is a heart, but not a soft one. It is sharp and angular, representing a sense of danger. This heart embodies a core duality: sensitivity paired with defense, emotion existing alongside risk. It is the graphic expression of an internal tension—the push to create from raw feeling against the pull to simplify and control.

This tension defines the visual language. While the intention leans toward sober blacks and beiges with clean lines, the creative process pushes through with shots of color, assertive shape, and intensity. The bladed heart becomes the disruptive force in this restraint, a way to express feeling without becoming soft.

The attitude draws from a 2000s sensibility, one of defensive dressing under observation. Clothing is treated as a form of protection; styling is a strategy. The collection lives in the friction between exposing the body and shielding it, proposing a way to exist under constant scrutiny without asking for approval.
