Maison Valentino Appoints SOMBR as Ambassador

Maison Valentino has named the singer, songwriter, and producer SOMBR as a new global brand ambassador. The 20-year-old artist first wore custom Valentino in this role at the 2026 Grammy Awards on February 1st.
This appointment continues the fashion house’s practice of partnering with figures who shape contemporary culture. The Maison stated that SOMBR, through his work and public presence, explores ideas of individuality and confidence with an intuitive approach to style.
In a statement, the artist expressed excitement about the role, citing respect for Creative Director Alessandro Michele’s vision and the legacy of founder Valentino Garavani.
SOMBR is a Grammy nominated artist from New York. He has had chart success with songs like “Back to Friends” and a debut album, “I Barely Know Her,” that has remained in the Spotify Global top 10. Named to Billboard’s 21 under 21 list, he has performed on major television shows and is set to begin the European leg of his sold out tour on February 10.
