LỰU ĐẠN Year of the Horse Lunar New Year Capsule Collection
by Adriano Batista
On February 3rd, 2026, LỰU ĐẠN releases its second annual Lunar New Year capsule. The eight-piece collection welcomes the Year of the Horse. The brand approaches the holiday with a specific energy, choosing to bypass the usual red and gold themes. Instead, founder Hung La uses the zodiac as a starting point to expand the brand’s own world, introducing a new character each year.
For 2026, that character is the horse, specifically, a stallion. The imagery is fast, untamed, and deliberate. The collection builds this portrait by pulling from outlaw Americana, biker gear, and rodeo legends. It imagines a person defined by speed and a refusal to look back.
Key items ground this idea. The capsule is anchored by the Pony Moto L-D Jacket, matching Pony Phat Pants XL, and a Pony Hair Cowboy Belt. Western inspiration continues with an ‘80s Rodeo Shirt, printed with a red bull-rider motif. This same print is reworked into lightweight shorts called the Rodeo Runners, translating arena spirit into casual wear. Hoodies and tees complete the set, featuring slogans like “Can’t Tame a Stud” and graphics that swap heavy-metal imagery for western symbols.
