Luis Carvalho presented his new collection for Fall/Winter 2026 at MODALISBOA. The collection sits in the space between who we were and who we remember being, where time blurs outlines and memories take new forms.

The silhouettes play with duality. Defined waists hug the body while shoulders shift between structured and dropped. There is a tension between control and something looser, as if carrying the weight of the past without letting it weigh you down.

Details carry meaning. Pockets hold things not meant to be seen. Pleats trace lines across the body. Drapes flow like memories that return uninvited. Bands wrap the silhouette in a gesture that protects and reveals at the same time. The fabrics draw from tailoring traditions. Some surfaces appear already lived in, almost inherited. They carry their own memory. Color stays restrained. A range of neutrals creates visual silence. Then a single note cuts through, a reminder that memory carries emotion with it.

Carvalho dedicated the show to the people who have walked with him since the beginning. A chosen family. Supportive and indispensable.
