Louis Vuitton is celebrating ten years of its partnership with UNICEF with the auction of a unique work of art, the Louis Vuitton Unity Time Object, at Sotheby’s from 9 to 18 June. All proceeds will go to UNICEF.

The collaboration began in Los Angeles on 12 January 2016, built on a simple conviction: children deserve the same opportunities to grow and dream, wherever they are born. Over the past decade, the partnership has raised US$28 million through the Silver Lockit collection, a unisex line of jewellery that includes a bracelet, pendant, and earrings. A portion of sales goes to UNICEF each year, exceeding the minimum annual commitment of €2 million. After renewing its support, Louis Vuitton has expanded its commitment to include programmes focused on gender equality and the empowerment of women.

The partnership extends beyond fundraising. The LV World Run brings employees and their families together in Paris for a charity race that doubles as a way to learn about UNICEF’s work. The LV Reporters initiative sends five Louis Vuitton employees into the field each year to meet beneficiaries alongside UNICEF teams. They return with stories, faces, and a direct understanding of what the partnership supports.

To mark the anniversary, 2026 will see new interpretations of the Silver Lockit collection, a new edition of the REBONDS book, and the auction of the Louis Vuitton Unity Time Object, an exceptional watch accompanied by its own Louis Vuitton trunk. The ten-day international online sale at Sotheby’s begins 9 June, with the hammer price donated to UNICEF.
