Louis Vuitton has collaborated with House Ambassador j-hope on a new version of the LV Buttersoft Sneaker. The shoe was designed by Pharrell Williams, the brand’s Menswear Creative Director.

The sneaker was originally made for j-hope himself as a custom shoe for his world tour. The design prioritized comfort and meaningful details. The result combines the movement of a track runner with Italian leatherwork. Hand-stitched and hand-painted elements add a refined, tailored feel.

The shoe comes in a bright rose and white colorway. It has a springy, layered rubber outsole and an ultra soft calf suede upper. The wide, woven laces are strung with a decorative Monogram cloche-clé. The ends of the laces are printed with the words “Your, My Hope,” a reference to the artist’s stage name. A textile label taken from the Louis Vuitton Speedy P9 bag appears on the underside of the tongue. A leather patch on the outside of the tongue is embossed with a dedicated logomark that features the Louis Vuitton Paris stamp and j-hope’s signature. Leather enchapes on the heel and toe echo those found on Louis Vuitton’s luggage and bags. Beneath the heel’s enchape sits a hidden set of charms: a squirrel and acorn, symbols recognizable to his fans.
