LOEWE Perfumes is taking part in the Madrid Design Festival this year, and they are building something unusual in the middle of the city.

From February through March, visitors can explore three installations that the brand describes as a “crafted garden.” The idea draws from Renaissance gardens, with paths and curves meant to encourage wandering. At the center of it all is a modular structure by Molo Design, a studio known for working with paper and sustainable materials. The piece uses ultra-thin paper arranged in honeycomb shapes, inspired by old botanical books and gilded manuscripts. It is meant to feel like walking through a living book of scents.

The setup changes over the course of the festival. Each of the three experiences will offer a different way into LOEWE’s perfume world, with a focus on craftsmanship and the art of glassblowing. The materials are recyclable, and the whole thing is designed to be temporary but thoughtful.

Here is the schedule:

February 18–24 – Immersive experience in Plaza Colón, Madrid
March 4–8 – Exhibition space at FORMA Design Fair, Matadero Madrid
